871 San San Oo STRUCTURAL AND ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES OF Ba DOPED CaTiO3 THIN FILMS Calcium titanate and barium doped calcium titanate, Ca1-xBaxTiO3 (x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3) thin films deposited onto silicon substrates were prepared by spin coating technique. The prepared undoped and Ba doped CaTiO3 thin films were studied by various characterization techniques aimed at understanding the structural and electrical properties of the samples. These films were characterized by a smooth surface with uniform, crack-free microstructure and densely packed, which is in agreement with the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis. The effect of composition on the phase formation of these samples was investigated by recording X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD) and it was observed that the lattice parameter varied with increasing the dopant concentration of barium. The dielectric constants of all the films were determined by a capacitance-voltage measurement using a LCR meter in the frequencies range of (0.1 kHz to 100 kHz). 2020

875 Hnin Yu Wai FABRICATION AND CHARACTERIZATION OF STRONTIUM DOPED CALCIUM TITANATE THIN FILMS Strontium doped calcium titanate, Ca1-xSrxTiO3 (x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4) thin films deposited onto silicon substrates were prepared by sol-gel method and heated at 700°C for 1 hr. The sol-gel method offers numerous advantages such as good homogeneity of the powders and low processing temperature. Microstructural observation of the Ca1-xSrxTiO3 thin films was investigated from scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images and it was found that the grain sizes varied with increase in concentration of strontium. The structural identification with different dopant concentrations of the films examined using X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis showed the complete crystallization in the perovskite structure. Capacitance-voltage (C-V) measurements were carried out by using a LCR meter for various frequencies (0.1 kHz to 100 kHz) and the values of dielectric constant for all the films were also determined. 2020
876 Shwe Sin Aung SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF CALCIUM TITANATE (CaTiO3) POWDER FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC APPLICATION Calcium titanate (CaTiO3) powders with perovskite structure were synthesized by a co-precipitation method by using CaCO3, TiO2 and NaOH as the starting materials. The effect of calcinations temperature in phase formation, morphology and particle size distribution of proposed powders were examined. The dried gels were calcined at 500°C, 600°C and 700 °C respectively. The Structural analysis was calculated by using X-ray Diffraction Method (XRD). The functional groups were examined by using Fourier Transformed Infrared Spectrophotometer (FTIR). The surface morphology was examined by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The crystallite phase and the morphology of CaTiO3 were highly influence by the calcinations temperature. 2020
