Abstract

• Drainage basin morphometric information is very important to manage the incidence of flooding in an area. The main aim of the research is to assess the basin morphometry of Bago River Basin and evaluate its hydrological implication as relating to flooding. In this research, the topographic maps and satellite imageries are used to analyse for the hydrological and geographical techniques for basin delineation, stream ordering and digital elevation modelling.
