TAXONOMIC STUDY ON TWELVE SPECIES OF FAMILY FABACEAE FROM NAT YAY GAN MOUNTAIN AREA IN NGAPHE TOWNSHIP

Abstract
  • The present research work deals with the taxonomic study on some species of family Febaceae from Nat Yay Gan mountain area in Ngaphe Township which is located in Middle part of Myanmar. This area lies between 20º10'N Latitude and 94º30'E Longitude. The flowering plants from the floristic area were collected, preserved and identified from 2017 to 2018. Altogether 12 species which are belonging to 8 genera were included. The characteristics of the family, the morphological characters of the genera and species were presented with the colour photographs. The names of the genera were arranged in alphabetically. All the plants were recorded and described.
